About
Every celebration begins at the gate.
Ivory Gate is a digital invitation service based in Surrey, British Columbia. We make animated invitation websites for weddings of every tradition (Anand Karaj, Hindu, Nikah, church), sangeet, Akhand Path, birthdays, baby showers and every other celebration, shared as one WhatsApp link with RSVPs, maps and music. Each family can even get its own link that greets them by name.

Why we built it
A desi wedding isn't one event, it's five: roka, mehndi, jaago, the ceremony and the reception, often across different venues and with relatives flying in from India, the UK and the US. Paper cards can't change when a venue does, and generic e-card sites weren't made for a milni or a jaago. So we made invitations that are: every function on one link, a headcount for each, Gurmukhi and Devanagari built in, and openings worthy of the occasion.

- 03Tap Keepsake Cards: printed NFC cards for elders that open the invitation with a tap.
- 04Private by default: hidden from search engines and closed 2 weeks after the last event.
