Tips from families who've done it
- Send save-the-dates 3–6 months ahead if relatives are flying in from India, the UK or the US.
- Send the full invitation 6–8 weeks before the wedding.
- Ask RSVPs per function: many guests come to the reception but not the mehndi, and your caterer needs each number.
- Visit elders in person with mithai and a printed card, then send the link for the details. A Keepsake Card does both.

Indian & Punjabi Wedding invitation FAQ
Is it okay to send wedding invitations on WhatsApp?
Yes. For most desi families in Canada WhatsApp is how relatives already communicate, so a link is the fastest way to reach everyone. Many families still hand a printed or keepsake card to elders in person as a mark of respect.
Can I put the mehndi, sangeet and reception on one invitation?
Yes. Each function gets its own card with date, time, venue, map and note, and guests can RSVP to each one separately.
What if the venue or time changes after I send it?
Edit the invitation and every guest sees the update immediately through the same link. Nothing needs to be reprinted or resent.
How much does a digital wedding invitation cost?
Ivory Gate costs CA$39 (Signature) or CA$79 (Couture, every design) as a one-time payment with unlimited guests. Done-For-You, where we build it for you, is CA$149.
