Made like the finest children's picture book: a crescent moon, stars and clouds cut from layered paper and finished with gold foil and tiny hand stitches, hanging on fine threads from a pearl-beaded hoop. One tap sets the mobile spinning, the stars light one by one and fall as sparkles, the clouds drift apart and warm moonlight opens onto a soft cream page, for a baby shower, a godh bharai, a naming ceremony or a first birthday.
